At the foot of the Serranía del Nudo, about fifteen minutes from Pereira, this ecological farm has a magnificent mariposario (butterfly farm) where about a hundred species of Lepidoptera have been recorded. There are also many birds to be observed along the paths of the finca. The biologist Juan Carlos Noreña may be able to convince you to stroke a snake, or to receive a tarantula on the back of your hand, quite an impressive experience actually! An interesting visit for the whole family.
