The old train station is one of the few old places that resisted the 1999 earthquake. This large republican building from 1927 houses the Museum of Art of Armenia and Quindío, with temporary exhibitions by Colombian and foreign artists. The artist and lawyer Ramón Manrique Boeppler and María Cristina Mejía, director of the museum, are working to transform the place into a vast cultural center where a music school, a concert hall, a library...
