MUSEO RAYO
This museum houses the works of Omar Rayo and hosts temporary exhibitions of painting, drawing or engraving
The museum, created in 1981, is inspired by elements of Mayan architecture. In its eight octagonal modules, Omar Rayo's works are exhibited - signed "Roldayork" (the master's life was divided between Roldanillo and New York) - as well as temporary exhibitions of painting, drawing and engraving. The master began his career as a caricaturist for newspapers in Cali and Bogotá, and then began to paint. His work is dedicated to geometric figures, with optical effects, which are expressed mainly in black, white and red.
