Well located, five minutes walk from the center and the bus station, Hotel Matamundo is an old farm converted into a hotel. A colonial building with an old-fashioned charm, quietly surrounded by gardens. The whole is rather old-fashioned but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is pleasant, with the heat of Neiva, and the restaurant on the spot, with a correct kitchen, and concerts sometimes in the weekend. Charming welcome, especially for foreign tourists, few of whom stay in Neiva. Reasonable prices.
