Hotel with spacious, clean, comfortable rooms and a nice pool in Neiva

Well located, five minutes walk from the center and the bus station, Hotel Matamundo is an old farm converted into a hotel. A colonial building with an old-fashioned charm, quietly surrounded by gardens. The whole is rather old-fashioned but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is pleasant, with the heat of Neiva, and the restaurant on the spot, with a correct kitchen, and concerts sometimes in the weekend. Charming welcome, especially for foreign tourists, few of whom stay in Neiva. Reasonable prices.

Hotel típico de neiva, la atención fue muy mala, las habitaciones les hace falta mucho mantenimiento, la puerta del baño estaba por caerse, para el costo creo que pueden mejorar, el desayuno muy muy básico, el camarero tenía afán y todo a las carreras , no fue muy agradable

Es un hotel de estilo colonial el edificio con un patio central donde tiene una piscina ovalada grande debajo de unos árboles tipo ceiba tbm muy grande. Nosotros hemos estado allí hace muchos años pero recuerdo que el restaurante servía unas carnes asadas muy ricas acompañada de ensalada, arroz , yuca frita y patatas fritas todo en su justa medida. La piscina y los jardines de alrededor son una delicia para descansar del ruido infernal del centro de Neiva. Relajarse , tomar un refresco o una cerveza y darse un buen baño y refrescarse.

Ahora quedó muy cerca del centro de Neiva pues la ciudad creció mucho hacia el sur........antes estaba retirado de la ciudad saliendo hacia el sur ( carretera pitalito) .
Lo recomiendo para pasar el día en la piscina y sus jardines.
Unos amigos periodistas se hospedaron aquí durante toda la semana pasada pues fueron a Neiva a cubrir un evento deportivo de patinaje y me dijeron que está muy bien , muy tranquilo yas habitaciones bien.

Espero que mi opinión sea de ayuda a otros futuros visitantes.
