In El Tablón, there are five sculptures, including a female representation called Deidad Lunar, which stands out because of its half-moon shaped nose ornament. Next door, a small ethnographic museum installed in a peasant house. Quick but interesting guided tour. We can then go to the site of La Chaquira, 1 km away. The sculptures have been preserved in situ, facing the Magdalena canyon. One will notice the expressiveness of the faces engraved in the stone, testifying of the skill and the sensitivity of the craftsmen. Superb view on the canyon from the mirador.
