Buy your ticket in advance and have your passport stamped for leaving Colombia (Leticia airport) and entering Peru (Santa Rosa). To be done the day before, because of the early departure. By fast boat, departure around 3 am from Santa Rosa. It is better to stay overnight in Santa Rosa, otherwise departure around 1h from Leticia by motorcycle cab to Tabatinga, to take a bus to Santa Rosa. Not very safe at night.
