MUSEO ETNOGRÁFICO FRAY ANTONIO JOVER LAMAÑA
Ethnographic museum exhibiting a hundred representative objects of the Huitotos, the Yukunas and Tikunas
This beautiful ethnographic museum, which belongs to the Banco de la República, celebrates the cultural diversity of the Amazon, through three themes: the regional history of the first inhabitants 11,000 years ago, up to the 20th century; the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Colombian Amazon; and the Ethnographic Room, where are exhibited about a hundred representative objects of the Huitotos, Yukunas and Tikunas, three of the more than fifty ethnic groups of the Colombian Amazon.
