CENTRO NATÜTAMA
This center set up by a local foundation presents a series of life-size wooden sculptures of fauna and flora
Natütama means "the world under the waters" in the Ticuna language. This center set up by a local foundation presents a series of life-size wooden sculptures of the fauna and flora that hide under the murky and opaque waters of the Amazon. Dolphins, manatees, otters, turtles, pirarucú, etc. The second exhibition focuses on the nocturnal life of the river with Amerindian tales. Also videos on pink dolphins and manatees, made by the foundation. Close to the village center, the center is worth a visit.
