Tivat is a charming town on the Bay of Kotor, ideal for a vacation with family or friends. With 240 sunny days a year, it's the sunniest town on this part of the Montenegrin coast. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate and a clean sea with a bathing season of around 180 days. In addition to the sea, you can also enjoy the surrounding mountains and lush vegetation. Also not to be missed are the islands of Gospa Milosti, Sveti Marko and Prevlaka, the three largest islands in the Bay of Kotor. Tivat is also home to the maritime village of Porto Montenegro, with restaurants serving Italian, Asian and Lebanese cuisine, as well as numerous boutiques selling the world's leading brands. The port of Porto Montenegro has been named the best superyacht port in the world. It's also worth visiting the nearby towns of Kotor, around 11 km away, and Budva, 24 km away. Tivat is well connected to other coastal towns by major roads, as well as to Tivat airport, which sees 80% of its traffic during the summer months.
