In Budva, a big carnival celebrates the arrival of the warm weather with several highlights: dance, parade, competitions and concerts on a Venetian tune.
Budva celebrates the arrival of the beautiful days with a big carnival. About thirty groups with their colourful costumes are welcomed, half of them from abroad. These guests are dance and theatre groups that perform on the esplanade. The show starts with a parade through the city and ends with a competition for the most beautiful masks and costumes. During the concert, the young local Montenegrin stars sing in their language, proud of their origins. A moment of exchange where all the participants have fun, to the tune of Venice.
