Merâk means "curiosity" in Turkish. The shops of this small street have given themselves the word: professionalism to reward the curiosity of the traveler. The Merâk place is located on two floors. French music from the 1960s will accompany you all along. Let yourself be tempted by an authentic Turkish coffee and some pastries. Ask for a sherbet, a pastry also present in another region, Central Asia. The circumflex accent in Turkish means that the vowel is long. Pronounce it "Merak".
