In its 22 rooms, the Pinacoteca contains a rich and prestigious collection of works by Italian artists from the 11th to the beginning of the 20th century. Some of the paintings come from the cathedral of Bari and churches in Puglia. There are works by the Venetians Tintoretto and Vivarini, jewels of Neapolitan painting, and an important collection of paintings and sculptures by southern artists of the 19th and 20th centuries (Giuseppe De Nittis, Gioacchino Toma...).
