Museum to discover an impressive and sumptuous collection of about 2,000 ancient vases
This museum, located on the ground floor of the neo-classical Jatta Palace, has four rooms in which an impressive and sumptuous collection of about 2,000 antique vases, imported from Greece or produced locally (the famous Apulian red-figure ceramics), can be discovered. Some of them come from the necropolis of Ruvo (Rubi), an important frontier between Peucetia and Daunie, two cultural areas of pre-Roman Puglia.
