CATTEDRAL
Cathedral built in the Norman period, housing the relics of the Saint-Epine.
Built in the Norman period on the site of an older building, the cathedral was modified several times: the façade has a 19th century portico, the Norman bell tower rests on an ancient Lombard tower and, inside, the chapel of San Riccardo (the patron saint of Andria) is 15th century. The chapel to the right of the apse houses the relics of the Holy Spine of Christ's crown. The crypt dates back to the first building of the 7th and 8th centuries: there are the tombs of Yolande de Brienne and Isabella of England, wives of Frederick II.
