Among the twenty well-preserved churches present on the site, the best known are those of Sant'Antonio Abate, which preserves frescoes from the 12th and 18th centuries; that of San Marco, with 3 naves and 2 apses ; the Candelora, perhaps the most interesting with its vaulted ceiling, which has an extremely rare representation of the Madonna holding the Child Jesus in her hand; the church of Santa Marina, with a basilica floor plan, close to the remains of a Basilian hermitage; the church of San Leonardo, decorated with rather well preserved frescoes.
