The gravina of Laterza is a protected area that can be explored by following the two discovery trails that start at the visitor center on the other side of the road. Trailno. 2 leads to the Grotta Croce after a 500 m walk. Trail3 , which is longer (5 km), goes deep into this wild and grandiose landscape, dotted with rocky cavities. In this spectacular canyon, many species of birds of prey have found refuge, including some that are in danger of extinction, such as the Egyptian vulture. At the beginning of the walk, there is a vast panorama of the gravina .
