PALAZZO GRANAFEI-NERVEGNA
Visit the Renaissance palace to discover the Imperial Roman domus and Brindisi's Roman column.
Beautiful Renaissance palace, built in the 16th century by the Granafei family, whose basement was the subject of archaeological excavations in the early 21st century. The excavations revealed the presence of a Roman domus of imperial age, of which some remains of mosaic pavements can be seen. An adjacent room is dedicated to the original capital of the Roman column of Brindisi, decorated with twelve mythological marine figures. Well displayed, it is possible to observe it closely.
