Lost in the middle of thick Mediterranean vegetation, in the shade of holm oaks and chestnut trees, la Selva ("the forest") is a charming holiday resort perched at an altitude of 400 metres. It is the highest point in the province of Brindisi and, during the summer heat waves, it is here that the inhabitants of Fasano come to find a little freshness! It can be reached by a scenic road from Fasano (state road Bari-Brindisi). A delightful itinerary, among olive trees, almond trees, vineyards, and here and there some typical sights.
