CHIESA SAN FRANCESCO
Church with a beautiful altar in polychrome marble and a painting of the school of Luca Giordano.
The church was built at the end of the 18th century on the remains of an older church. Together with the neighbouring buildings it formed the monastic complex of the friars of the Franciscan order. Today, the former convent houses the Municipio (communal house). The façade of the church is pierced by a beautiful portal with bronze doors that depict scenes from the life of St. Francis. Inside there is a beautiful polychrome marble altar made by an artist of the Neapolitan school, and a painting by Luca Giordano's school.
