CHIESA SANTA MARIA DELLA GRAZIA
Church with a harmonious baroque façade facing the ruins of the Roman amphitheater.
Located at the eastern end of Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the church was built between 1590 and 1606. Its harmonious Baroque façade faces the ruins of the Roman amphitheatre; the foundations of the church rest on part of the buried remains. Some beautifully crafted objects can be seen there. The pulpit and the two holy water fonts were commissioned by a great patron of the time, Francesco Paladini, which explains the presence on each of them of the coat of arms of his family.
