Renaissance palace belonging to wealthy lamp oil merchants, with remains in the basement.

This beautiful palace of the Renaissance leccese belonged to rich merchants of oil of lamp. Its basement has delivered Messapian remains (walls made of large blocks of stone), Roman (temple of Isis) and of the 16th century (oil decanting basins) that you can discover with a tablet and QR codes to obtain explanations in French. If the reading of the vestiges is not always easy, it is facilitated by the immersive experience in virtual reality: thanks to a 3D helmet, you are immersed in the temple of Isis of the Roman Lupiae . Clear explanations.
