From Paris, the SNCF offers sixteen direct TGV round trips a day.
Since June 2007, the TGV Est has taken Paris to Strasbourg in 2 hours 20 minutes. Completion of the high-speed line in 2015 will reduce this journey time to 1 hour 50 minutes.
Enjoy the interior designed by Christian Lacroix and the fast journey time.
For an adult, 2nd class tickets start at €22 for a single journey.
From Bordeaux, there are five daily TGV frequencies linking Strasbourg directly, without changing trains or passing through Paris. Journey time is 6 hours 45 minutes.
From Marseille, there are two direct routes, one by day on the TGV, which takes 6 hours 39 minutes, and one by night on the Corail Lunea, which takes around 10 hours. Connections are via Paris or Lyon. The TGV Rhin-Rhône line is currently under construction between Mulhouse and Dijon, scheduled for completion in 2011.
