Church that preserves many valuable paintings of the Neapolitan school.
Small in size and with a white façade, the church, built between 1662 and 1665, preserves many valuable paintings of the Neapolitan school. On the high altar is the Virgin of Purità between St. Joseph and St. Francis of Assisi, attributed to the Neapolitan artist Luca Giordano. Also noteworthy are the majolica flooring, the 18th century wooden stalls and, among the sculptures, a statue of Santa Cristina in papier-mâché made by a cartapestaio from Lecce.
