Museum in the seaside resort of Santa Maria al Bagno located in Nardo
The seaside resort of Santa Maria al Bagno houses an interesting museum. Designed by the architect Luca Zevi and inaugurated in 2009, the Museum of Memory and Reception presents the testimonies of Jews who survived the horror of the death camps during the Second World War. The visit continues with the poignant murals created by Zivi Miller and other Jewish refugees, placed in transit camps between 1943 and 1947, notably in Santa Maria al Bagno.
