A pastry shop and a bar, which defines itself as the temple of sweets of Foggia. In a décor full of charm, it attracts a large clientele, rather young and intelligent. The offer is vast, from classic cornetti to doughnuts, brioches and pies. You can taste the famous setteveli of Foggia, a cake composed of seven layers (sette veli means "seven veils") alternating cocoa biscuit, fondant chocolate mousse, Bavarian hazelnut cream, etc. It is perfect for an aperitif accompanied by appetizers.

Arrivato in questo locale per un aperitivo serale di coppia, ho potuto constatare una serie di problematiche che mi si sono presentate, per le quali, nonostante sia stato fatto presente al personale responsabile, non sono state porte delle scuse né tantomeno presi provvedimenti per sopperire alle mancanze ma anzi mi è sembrato di essere trattato con menefreghismo. I problemi riscontrati sono: una sola persona presente in sala e che è tardata ad arrivare e solo tramite nostra segnalazione, informazioni non corrette da parte della persona (aveva detto che su un piatto aperitivo fossero presenti 7 pezzi invece ne sono arrivati 6), al posto di 2 piatti ordinati ne è arrivato solo uno, i due calici avevano due differenti altezze di prosecco, mancavano i tovagliolini sul tavolo, i pezzi del piatto aperitivo erano tutti riscaldati. Peccato perché il posto meriterebbe per la location e per la posizione in centrale in cui si trova.

È la prima volta che inserisco una recensione negativa su un posto della mia città. Gambero Rosso ha inserito questo posto tra i migliori 6 bar di Foggia e fin qui non posso che essere d'accordo.
Il problema, come indica la stellina è proprio il "Servizio". Sarà che il Cairoli sotto la feste va un po' a rilento ma una cameriera per più dì 20 tavoli è poco efficiente... Se poi aggiungiamo che suddetta cameriera (spero non sempre la stessa) ignora deliberatamente i clienti appena arrivati e oltre a non portare i menù ignora le chiamate a voce alta la cosa si complica. E a quanto pare molti miei amici hanno riscontrato questo problema e dopo attese di 10/20 minuti sono andati via. Probabilmente ci tornerò ma al massimo per ordinare al banco dove ben 3 baristi sono pronti a servirti. Un vero peccato
