Seventeen kilometres north of the baia delle Zagare, Pugnochiuso is a wide private bay dominated by pine woods and bounded at each end by a promontory. Larger than its neighbour, its beach attracts in summer a dense and compact crowd that comes to enjoy the crystal-clear waters. Pugnochiuso is particularly appreciated by families and sportsmen. Hotels and resorts have found more room to develop than at the baia delle Zagare, but are also quickly sold out as soon as the good weather arrives
