Some caves are worth a look, notably those of San Nicola, the Saraceno and the Contrabbandieri. Along the indented coast of the Gargano, from Vieste to the baia delle Zagare, you can observe the high white cliffs overlooking the sea, small coves shaded by centuries-old pine trees, and some natural arches.
The easiest way is to go to the Marina, early in the morning, go around the companies... and haggle! Although a little more expensive, excursions in small boats make it possible to avoid mass tourism, which can sometimes be heavy.
