A palace, of the eighteenth century, with a rich library and museum in the historic center of Rionero in Vulture
An eighteenth-century palace, located in the historic centre of the town, which has been home to important historical figures such as Giuseppe Bonaparte, Ferdinando di Borbone, Giuseppe Zanardelli, Benedetto Croce, Gaetano Salvemini and Francesco Saverio Nitti. It includes a rich library (about 11,000 volumes) and the Museo della civiltà contadina (museum of rural life) housed in the old stables. It also preserves some archaeological finds, including a statuette of Aphrodite dating back to the 1st century BC.
