Visit the Museo Archeologico and discover pieces from the Bronze Age to the 4th-5th centuries AD.
Housed in the former episcopal seminary, the museum preserves archaeological finds from the Marmo Platano area. There are pieces from the Bronze Age to the 4th-5th centuries AD, as well as a funerary trousseau from the end of the 6th century BC, discovered in the nearby town of Baragiano and consisting of ceramics and a magnificent Greek bronze armour. One section is devoted to the Lucanian phase, and another to the Romanisation of the territory, with the establishment of Roman villas decorated with rich mosaics
