CHIESA SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE

The church dates from the 13th and 14th centuries, but has been rebuilt several times. Its façade has two precious bas-reliefs with angel worshippers, fragments of a 15th century tabernacle. The large Romanesque bell tower is supported by a square base. The inside, with a single nave, is in baroque style, decorated with stuccoes, and has a beautiful wooden choir of the XVIII century and paintings and sculptures of the same period (marble statue of the Madonna degli Angeli in a niche).
