CONVENTO SANT'ANTONIO DA PADOVA
Convent, of the XV century, with a church decorated with beautiful frescoes and an archaeological museum in Rivello.
The convent dates back to the 15th century and belonged to the observant Friars Minor. The church has a 16th century portico decorated with a magnificent fresco by Pietrafesa (17th century). The cloister (alas restored, but nevertheless absolutely worthy of interest!) still preserves some frescoes by the same Pietrafesa and the painter Giovanni Todisco (Scenes of the Passion). On the first floor, the Civic Museum exhibits archaeological material found in the nearby localities.
