Upstream of the Sasso Barisano, an ideally located restaurant with a large and pleasant terrace, surrounded by the sassi. The welcome is really warm. A la carte, traditional dishes of Lucanian and peasant cuisine, such as cavatelli with tomato and cacioricotta and bean purée with chicory, but also various suggestions of fresh seafood. To try: the great sea antipasto to share and the crudo di mare. An address that reveals with surprise tasty dishes recommended by the locals.

La comida espectacular, con platos típicos de la zona. Nos gustó todo lo que probamos. Las orecchiette con agnello, el bacalao con crosta de almendra... El entrante también muy original, de col y bacalao. vino muy rico y con carta extensa. El postre es lo que a mí particularmente menos me destacó, la ricota con pera, pero he de reconocer su originalidad.
El ambiente una fantasía, y con guitarrista de fondo, que hizo de la velada algo inolvidable.
El trato por parte del personal excepcional. Todos muy atentos y amables. Llegamos sin reserva y nos atendieron de maravilla, sin hacernos prácticamente esperar.
Recomiendo, y si vuelvo a Matera, repito.
