CHIESA SANTI APOSTOLI PIETRO E PAOLO
Church near the castle with a beautiful view on the valley
Near the castle is a church with a candy-pink interior of late Baroque appearance, where you can admire the Rococo style choir, the beautiful fresco of a Virgin and Child from the 17th century, and the marble statues of St. Lucy and St. Catherine, sculpted by Pietro Bernini (1562-1629), who is none other than the father of Gianlorenzo Bernini, the famous architect and sculptor of Baroque Rome. From the square in front of the church there is a beautiful view over the valley.
