CHIESA SANTA MARIA DEL COLLE
Restored church with Baroque façade and interior featuring 18th century paintings and sculptures
Situated in the main square of the village, the church dates back to the 15th century and was built on a project by Giovanni Donadio dit Il Mormando, an architect from the village and particularly active in Naples. However, the church was refurbished in the 18th century; its façade and interior are Baroque. The baptismal font, dating back to 1576, is noteworthy, as well as paintings and sculptures from the XVIII century, including a Coronation of the Virgin by the Neapolitan painter Antonio Sarnelli.
