Japanese restaurant in Bruges with chefs Ivan Verhelle and Akihisa Kawakami offering grilled eel fillet.
Tanuki, when Belgium meets Japan! And has been for 35 years! Chefs Ivan Verhelle and Akihisa Kawakami plunge us into a true-to-nature Japanese atmosphere. With traditional dress, a magnificent outdoor pool and a zen-like atmosphere, it's in a large open kitchen that you can watch the chefs at work. Sashimi, sushi, tempura, teppanyaki - everything is fresh, homemade and prepared before your very eyes. For the record, the tanuki is a Japanese raccoon considered a lucky charm, bringing prosperity and fortune.

Vriendelijke bediening en lekker vers eten.
Enig negatief puntje: te duur voor wat je krijgt. De porties mogen wat groter zijn!
Fantastic food and the ambience is perfect. A unique experience in the heart of Bruges!
