ARCH ROCK
Natural arch of small dimensions in the same loop sheltering a more summary camp-site than in Atlatl Rock
Arch Rock is a natural arch on the same loop as Atlatl Rock. However, a secondary loop allows you to tour it separately. The campsite is more basic. Atlatl Rock is one of the first formations to emerge from the park's western entrance. The immense rock mass, which you drive around on a 2-mile loop road, is covered with 4,000-year-old petroglyphs. Some of the scenes depict this ancestor of the bow, for which the site is named. A 43-site campground is located at the foot of Atlatl Rock.
