Renovated information center with bookstore and picnic areas featuring an exhibit on Mojave National Preserve
A fully renovated information center in what was a Union Pacific railroad depot from 1924 to 1985. While freight trains that connect Salt Lake City and the West Coast still pass the building, they no longer stop there. Bookstore, restrooms, water, picnic areas. Mojave Nation Preserve presentation exhibit on three levels. On-demand screening of a 20-minute film about the park, in English with subtitles.
