ROCK SPRING LOOP TRAIL
Completely renovated stone building with beautiful views, in the Mojave National Park, offering a very nice walk
A beautiful walk that begins at The Rock House, a building built in 1929 by Bert Smith. He survived the deadly gases of the First World War and retired here after his doctor told him he was near the end... he stayed here for 25 years. His home was taken over by artist Carl Faber, who lived and worked here in the 1980s. In 2009, the building was completely renovated. The walk leads to Rock Spring along the Mojave Road, then Watson Wash, with beautiful views of the Hackberry and New York Mountains.
