SIRAHARNEROU AÏKI (LOVERS' PARK)
A park rehabilitated by architect Pierre Rambach, featuring ponds, a river and attractive wooden bridges.
The former Pushkin Park (renamed Friendship Park in 1970 before being dedicated to lovers in 1995) was abandoned until the Boghossian Foundation entrusted the rehabilitation to the architect Pierre Rambach. Reopened in 2008, the park has regained a second youth. It is one of the few landscaped parks in Yerevan with pools and a river with beautiful wooden bridges. And the lovers are once again content to flutter under its two hundred year old trees.
