The high point of Armenian religious life, this ceremony takes place only every 7 years under the illuminated dome of the cathedral of Etchmiadzine, where the Catholicos proceeds to the blessing of the precious holy oil, or Holy Chrism (muron) with a learned composition, used during baptisms.
