In Hnaberd, near Sardarabad, at the foot of the Ararat river, this dish is celebrated, which presents vegetables and vine leaves in all fillings.
On July 11, 2011, a new concept was launched in Sardarabad, with this festival dedicated to dolma, or stuffed vine leaves and other vegetables, which Armenians dispute with Turks. Inspired by the giant buffets and folkloric celebrations that take place on May 28 around the Sardarabad memorial against the backdrop of Ararat, the festival was a great success and the tradition has continued, usually in July and in the region, but the dates and places change. So check it out.
