A church in Gyumri with an elegant façade modelled on Ani Cathedral.
The church of Saint-Sauveur (Aménaprkitch, 1859-1866) has a side façade with an arcature and an umbrella dome at the end of the central Vartanants or Azatoutian square. It was badly damaged by the earthquake, the entire façade having been ripped open and the bell tower collapsed. The building was rebuilt identically, and regained the elegance of its facade modelled, albeit in a modest way, on the model of the cathedral of Ani.
