Church surrounded by remains, built in the century in Hayravank, with an elegant silhouette and nave.
Its elegant silhouette stands out at the top of a promontory emerging from the woods along the banks. Surrounded by the remains of a fortress, the church was built in the 9th century and enlarged by a more imposing gavit dating from the 12th century. The nave of the church is extended by an elegant projecting apsidiola, rare in Armenian buildings. The church is enhanced by the site, the lake extending in all its grandeur from this mound located at the intersection of the two basins of the Sevan, and since its restoration it has become emblematic of the Sevan.
