We've always had a soft spot for this coffee-shop's location: right here, facing the imposing fort at the end of the street, on this pretty little square shaded by its ficus tree and surrounded by a few stalls. Although it now has air-conditioned rooms and a roof terrace with a view of the fort, you'll still love sitting there, on the square. You can order directly from the counter, and the food is fresh, inexpensive and quite good, making it one of the best value-for-money places in town. Antique weapons market every Friday morning.
