At the entrance to Nizwa and 3 kilometers from the historic center, this is the quintessential provincial hotel, with its historic staff, vast glossy floors, spacious rooms and apartments, recently renovated and therefore very good value for money. An outdoor swimming pool in a vast courtyard is a great place to cool off, and there's also a small gym and a great restaurant frequented by locals and tourists alike - buffet and à la carte dishes of the highest quality. Ask for a room in the new, quieter wing at the rear of the building.
