NAPA VALLEY WINE TRAIN
Steam locomotive a little expensive in Napa offering several proposals for a tour of the vineyards of the valley
This rail line, built in 1864, offers a three-hour, 50-kilometer round trip from downtown Napa to St. Helena. You'll tour the valley's vineyards while sampling local food and wine. It's a retro experience - one of the locomotives even still runs on steam! Several routes are available, including a stopover to discover an organic vineyard on foot. Of course, it's a bit pricey, but you'll remember the ride for a long time.
