Frequently closed for filming, The Prince may be familiar to you: its room was immortalized in Chinatown (1974), where Jack Nicholson plays a private detective in the 1930s. It has to be said that the charm of the historic building and the decor of the premises contribute greatly to the reputation of this bar-restaurant. On the menu: excellent Korean cuisine, accompanied by one - or more - cocktails. Special mention goes to the friendly staff. But be warned: some dishes are spicier than they appear!

This was a really cool place to visit - definitely a little hidden gem. A lot of movies & TV shows have been filmed here so it's a really fun place to see. Drinks were yummy. Food was good - we had the green onion salad which was delicious. Not great for vegetarians but we had a couple dishes

This place is amazing. Super low-key, one of my favorite places in LA. They knock a few dishes out of the park and their cocktails are well made. Their spicy boneless chicken with mozza is the best. It does pack some heat, which is why I order the sauce on the side. It's great quality boneless fried chicken on top of a bed of melted mozzarella, on a hot skillet. I've never had anything like it and it is killer. Their shrimp fried rice and fried sweet & sour tofu (sauce on the side) are my other go to's. Those dishes are well worth the money. I highly recommend this place for a date or just a night out.

Eclectic, cool with some swagger. Hidden gem. Old school banquets with ringers to summon servers.
Excellent cocktails, friendly waitstaff (the call buttons are so much fun), and nice, salty, if slightly pricey, standard Korean food.
The Prince is the embodiment of a certain version of glittery old L.A. charm that we need to preserve for all time!
