This tiny local on Main Street is the first and only southern California to specialize in the omusubi, a small ball of rice filling meat or vegetables very popular in Japan. This is a little the equivalent of the sandwich for our Japanese counterparts. Everything is fresh and cooked on demand using mainly local products. Count between two and four omusubi depending on your appetite.

Too salty. Seaweed is already salty. So why douse your fillings with tons of salt while cooking? Smokers might like it, but the salt overpowered the experience.

arguably THE best onigiri I've ever had. I've tried store bought onigiri before but here it's served warm and very fresh. didn't take long to come out and even walked over to the nearby park to eat and it was still warm by the time i got there. the spicy salmon was SO flavorful and delicious. worth every penny i would ???? recommend

Fantastic Omusubi, loved the miso wagyu and tuna mayo. Quick, served with a smile and quality all the wet
the spicy salmon, tuna, MISO BEEF ( TOP TOP TIPPY TOP TIER) is my favorite, and the Curry chicken are my go-tos. the Udon is also good. The quality of what you're eating is so superb. I could really eat here on the daily.... good thing it's far from me... it only makes my stomach and heart grow fonder lol
