I always like staying here. I have stayed a few times over the last two years. The location is great, staff are always friendly and work very hard to make it as good a stay as possible. Noise of Channel Road mostly stops after the restaurants close. Steps from the beach and all the Santa Monica Stairs and a 15 minute from the bluffs in Santa Monica and Palisades. Parking can be tight but is manageable and there is usually a spot in the inn's lot. I love having actual keys instead of an electric card. SM is a great location; accessible to Topanga and Malibu as well as down coast and inland toward the rest of the West Side as well aa the East Side. The Inn is near the 1 which takes you to the 10, 405, and more.

My stay here was exquisite. Dominique, Jenn, Matthew and Latesha were the best hosts (+ chefs!). Additionally, the attention to detail with the cleaning team was spot on! Linens were always fresh and their care doesn’t go unnoticed. I will definitely be back… there’s a reason they’ve existed for 30+ years. 1 block (3-5min walk?) from the beach. Safe, quiet, cozy, and friendly, with a side of luxury. What more could you ask for!? Thank you.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Channel Road Inn. Our room was so nice with a sitting area, gas fireplace which turned on with a switch, a beautiful private deck, large bathroom and comfortable bed with good linens. Dominique was an amazing host and chef! She made an amazing artichoke, parmesan soufflé, very delicious pear bread and homemade granola along with yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, great coffee… I’m sure I am missing something! I highly recommend staying here rather than any highly rated hotel you will want to come back again soon as we do.

We've been staying here for years. Everything is always just about perfect. The afternoon wine and cheese spread and the breakfast fixings are beautifully presented and delicious!

This B&B was such a hidden gem! It was beautiful and historic inside with so many thoughtful touches that really make you feel at home. The fresh made breakfast, coffee, tea, wine and cheese hour and baked goods were so delicious and the room was very comfortable. The location also can’t be beat!

We had such a pleasant stay in Santa Monica! Dominque was a wonderful host & made sure we had everything we needed. I’d never stayed in a B&B, but gosh it’ll be hard to go back to a hotel ever again! I also have dietary restrictions, so I couldn’t eat the made-to-order breakfast & Dominique went the extra mile to make me scrambled eggs so I had a hearty meal to start the day. This place is amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

We just left after spending 10 nights, and we were sad to leave. Walking into the front door we were greeted by Audrey with a warm and welcoming smile. The aroma coming out of the kitchen of a freshly baked treat was delicious. I almost expected to see my grandmother coming out with a plate of cookies. Each day began with a delicious breakfast, newly brewed coffee, and always a freshly baked treat. 4:00 greeted us with some wine and savory snacks. Upon returning each evening, we found another treasure waiting for us in the common area. Homemade cookies, cakes or the nostalgic rice crispy treats were the "welcome home" we so enjoyed.

The location was perfect. We walked to the beach each day, rode bikes along the PCH, and hiked on the many local trails. We walked the "stairs" into Santa Monica. We strolled into the Palisades to visit family. We were a short drive to the Getty, Malibu, and the Petersen Car Museum.

We had two rooms while staying there, and they were on the small side but that was by choice. There were larger rooms available. Each room had comfortable beds, and fully equipped bathrooms.

The staff was wonderful! Dominique was always cheerful and accommodating. When ever we needed something. it was delivered within minutes.

Thank you for making our stay so enjoyableWe can't wait to visit again!

Nice b&b in prime location walking distance to Santa Monica beach. Well appointed rooms in this 1910 structure. Great breakfast. Quiet. Some of the doors are on the low side, so if you're tall mind your head!
